Available immediately, Key Manager Plus 5.0 has provisions that aid users to acquire, deploy and renew third-party SSL certificates onto their respective domain servers - directly from the product's web interface.
"For organizations that deal with a large SSL environment, the process of purchasing, deploying and renewing SSL certificates often proves to be cumbersome, time-consuming and has hardly been straightforward. Oversight, manual errors, improper configuration, weak ciphers, and expiration often lead to downtimes, compliance issues and security breaches," said Rajesh Ganesan, director of product management at ManageEngine. "The new version of Key Manager Plus integrates with Let's Encrypt CA and makes the process smooth. It enables organizations to purchase, deploy, renew, track and manage certificates right from the product interface itself in a highly automated fashion."
In addition to simplifying the process of SSL certificate acquisition, deployment and renewal, Key Manager Plus automates the entire life cycle of SSL certificate management. Highlights of the new release include:
With the latest enhancements, Key Manager Plus becomes the one-stop solution for managing all types of digital identities, including SSH keys and SSL certificates. It also complements Password Manager Pro, the company's privileged password manager for enterprises to consolidate, control, manage, monitor and audit the entire life cycle of all types of privileged identities.
Key Manager Plus (5.0) is available immediately. The licensing is based on the number of keys managed (number of SSH private keys plus SSL certificates plus any other digital key being stored). In addition to a fully functional, free, 30-day evaluation edition, Key Manager Plus is available as a Free Edition and Standard Edition. The Free Edition supports a maximum of five keys. Standard Edition prices start at $395 per year for managing 25 keys. All editions can be downloaded directly from the ManageEngine website at https://www.manageengine.com/key-manager/download.html.
